THREE BUSINESS LINES RELATING TO PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE
MANAGEMENT OF THE FRANCE INFRASTRUCTURES 1 FUND
The Fund that was created in end-2011, is aimed at investing in equity or quasi equity in special-purpose vehicles (‘SPVs’) that are dedicated to public infrastructure, either in the form of PPPs (private-public partnerships) operating mainly in the building sector (gendarmerie stations, schools, universities, administrative buildings, sports centres, etc.), or in the form of Concessions or public service outsourcing (DSP), mainly in the energy, lighting, water, waste management or telecom networks (optical fibre) sectors in connection with spatial planning.
The Fund voluntarily targets medium-sized projects in “local infrastructures” that fall under the spatial planning principle, with an investment value of €15 to 100 million.
The investment vehicle focuses mostly on projects in France and, to a lesser extent, in the euro area.
The Fund currently manages 21 lines of investment representing €1.9 billion in asset value.
